Limitless Lights and Sound Elevates Black&Tan and Redbull’s Celebration for the Service Industry
On September 18, 2023, the Fashion Industry Gallery in Dallas was the epicenter of a unique industry night—Red Monday. Organized by Black&Tan for Redbull, this exclusive, invitation-only industry event was a vibrant thank you to the entertainment and service industry professionals who have helped elevate Red Bull to the world’s top-selling energy drink. For Limitless Lights and Sound, the opportunity to contribute to this unique experience was both an honor and a challenge we embraced with enthusiasm.

Challenges and Solutions
Red Monday wasn’t just another party; it was a full-scale immersive experience that required the perfect blend of creativity and technical precision.
Our lighting package was designed to not only illuminate the space but also to transform the venue into a branded, high-energy environment that encapsulated the essence of Red Bull.
The lighting design turned the warehouse into a vibrant, pulsating party space, our Astera uplighting products allowing the whole warehouse to be a part of the party.
The stage was in the center, requiring a 360* coverage of sound, for which we used our ground-support L-acoustics Kara system.
Audio Excellence
The audio setup was just as critical as the lighting in ensuring that Red Monday was an event to remember.
The unique 360-degree stage design meant that sound needed to be evenly distributed throughout the venue, overcoming the challenges posed by the large, concrete space.
Our audio setup ensured that every beat and note was delivered with clarity and impact, turning the venue into an acoustic marvel that kept the energy high and the party going strong.

Equipment Used
(40) Astera AX5s: These wireless, battery-powered LED fixtures provided versatile uplighting throughout the space. With their compact design and RGBW color mixing, the AX5s delivered vibrant colors, creating a lively atmosphere while highlighting architectural features.
(18) Robe CycFX8s: Equipped with 8 individually controlled RGBW LEDs, these fixtures created dynamic effects and washes. Their zoomable beam and tilt capabilities allowed us to create bold, sweeping movements across the walls and ceiling and really set the stage apart from the rest of the venue.
(8) Fuze Par z60s: These compact LED PAR fixtures added a pop of color with their zoomable lenses, offering a wide range of beam angles for both tight spots and wide washes.
(4) Mac Viper Performances: These 1000W profile fixtures with CMY color mixing and an extensive gobo selection provided sharp, precise beams, perfect for creating focused highlights and dramatic effects.
(5) Mac Aura XBs: Known for their intense output and fast movements, these LED wash lights were instrumental in adding depth and energy to the dance floor.
(2) 750W Source Four Ellipsoidal: These classic fixtures provided crisp, defined beams for spotlighting performers and key areas, ensuring they stood out in the vibrant environment.
(4) Robe Tarantulas: These LED wash beams, with their powerful output and advanced color mixing, were essential for filling the space with rich, saturated colors.

(64) Titan Tubes: Used to create a captivating light tunnel at the entrance, these LED tubes offered infinite color possibilities and wireless control, making them a standout feature for showing off the Red Bull red, a visual specific of the event.
(21) L’Acoustics Kara Line Arrays: These line arrays provided crystal-clear sound with excellent coverage, ensuring that every beat was felt and heard across the entire venue.
(12) L’Acoustics SB28 Subwoofers: Delivering deep, resonant bass, these subs added the necessary punch to the audio experience, making the music feel immersive and powerful.
(3) L’Acoustics LA-Racks: Each rack was equipped with LA8 amplifiers, ensuring efficient power distribution and processing to maintain sound quality throughout the night.
DigiCo SD9: This digital mixing console provided precise control over the audio mix, allowing for seamless transitions between DJ sets and ensuring a consistent sound experience. Digico D2: Serving as an expansion stage box, it enhanced the overall system capacity, handling the extensive input requirements of the event.
(6) QSC K10.2 Speakers: These versatile, high-output speakers were used as additional fills to cover any gaps in sound distribution, ensuring that every corner of the venue was covered.
(2) Shure Wireless ULXD Combo Kits: For flawless wireless microphone performance, these kits provided reliable, interference-free operation, essential for clear announcements and performer interactions.
1 DJM900NXS2 and 3 CDJ3000s: The industry-standard DJ equipment allowed artists like Blake Ward, Disko Cowboy, and DJ Sober to deliver their sets with precision and style.
