Held at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions Center in Round Rock, the Taco Cabana Turn it Up! Conference brought together leaders and managers from across the company on March 27-28, 2024. Limitless Lights and Sound had the privilege of providing full AVL production services to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for the 80s themed conference.

Audiovisual for General Session

Each piece of equipment was meticulously chosen to provide the best possible audio experience, whether it was for TC’s motivational speaker, CEO ,COO, managers, or even the Spazmatics, who kept the 80s theme alive throughout the 2 day conference. Our Audio Techs handled:

(2) Shure Wireless ULXD Combo Quad Kits: 8 channels of ULXD wireless, with lavaliers and handheld mics, provided reliable and clear wireless audio for speakers and performers.
Digico SD9 with D2: This 96k audio console provided and outstanding mixing experience for our engineer, which resulted in an outstanding listening experience for our attendees.
dB Technologies VIO Line Array: Our powered line-array, with a software calculated deployment, provided powerful and clear sound throughout the venue.
(8) QSC K10.2s: These speakers provided excellent fills for any necessary gaps in sound coverage and flexibility.
(8) Hollyland Intercoms: Enabled reliable wireless communication among the production crew for those important show-calls .
Backline: DI kits, microphone kits, stands, and podium kits ensured that all audio needs were met comprehensively.

Video Killed the Radio Star

Our reliable video techs and advanced equipment package allowed for high-quality live records and seamless, professional presentations, both of these needs, our client shared, was paramount. Our video setup ensured that both live and recorded content was given at the best quality and of the highest standard. The equipment that allowed for us to create an engaging visual experience included:

(120) P3.9 Video Wall Panels: Created 2 stunning visual displays splitting the stage that kept the audience engaged with speakers and their visual content seamlessly integrated into our presentation decks.
Blackmagic Atem HD8 ISO Switcher: Enabled seamless switching between video sources, ensuring a smooth and professional presentation.
(2) Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6Ks: Provided high-resolution video capture for both live streaming and recording.
DSan Perfect Cue and Limitimer Speaker Timer Kits: Helped keep the event running on schedule, ensuring speakers knew their timing perfectly.
Apollo Volt USB-C Audio Interface: Linked to records for high-quality audio capture and integration.

Corporate Event Lighting for video

Besides a few good 80s audio stingers, the key to engaging the 80s theme for the attendees lie in the lighting. For example, our geometric gobo washes courtesy of our Robe BMFL Blades and bright pops of Taco Cabana pink with our Astera AX5s lifted the energy of the convention center ballroom.

GrandMA3 Light Control System: Provided comprehensive control over the lighting setup, ensuring dynamic and responsive lighting throughout the event.
(6) Robe BMFL Blades: Offered powerful and versatile lighting effects perfect for stage washes and gobo effects along the curtain line, also create ballyhoo effects for musical acts and awards. These framing profile fixtures also supported in a strong fill for certain speaking sgements.
(12) Martin Mac Aura XBs: These fixtures provided vibrant colors and dynamic lighting effects, great for changing stage fill colors or dim effects for musical performances.
(24) Astera AX5s: Used for versatile and battery-powered lighting options, ideal for conference settings to spice up the typical room settings and engage the audience.
(24) Robe CycFX8s: Provided smooth and even lighting across the curtain line, perfect for creating immersive environments and great curtain coverage for a dynamic setting.
