HLK served as the executive producer and director for the experience, shaping the narrative and creative direction behind Journey of a Seed, an installation designed to walk attendees through the lifecycle, science, and impact behind modern agriculture. Antidote Studio brought that vision to life through detailed video content and animation, crafting a visual language that could scale across an architectural canvas.
Limitless Lights and Sound was brought in as the Technical Video Consultant, 3D Designer, and Production Company, responsible for translating that creative vision into a real-world, in-person experience that functioned reliably, looked seamless, and held up under show conditions.
Before a single panel was staged or a cable run was planned, the entire experience was modeled in 3D.
Our team worked closely with HLK to understand how guests would move through the space, where sightlines mattered most, and how the content would behave once it wrapped around the audience. This wasn’t a flat video wall. It was an environment. The LED surfaces curved, extended, and framed the room in a way that demanded precise pixel mapping and intentional scale.
As Technical Video Consultants, our role extended beyond equipment selection. We focused on:
Translating creative intent into physical geometry
Designing LED surfaces that supported immersion without visual breaks
Planning structural and power layouts that stayed invisible to guests
Ensuring content playback would remain synchronized and color-accurate across the entire canvas
Every design decision was made with the end experience in mind, not just the spec sheet.
Immersive experiences demand more than beautiful content. They demand consistency.
Limitless Lights and Sound engineered the entire video signal chain to support long-form playback, color consistency, and real-time reliability. From media servers to processing to final pixel output, the system was designed to eliminate single points of failure and maintain visual integrity throughout the activation.
Key technical considerations included:
Multi-processor video control for large pixel canvases
RTX A6000 and 32-core Threadripper to support complex animations and motion with realtime-stops
Carefully tuned brightness and color calibration for indoor viewing of same-batch
Redundant signal routing to protect against interruption
Genlocked Processor array to ensure no tearing of the composite display.
This allowed the content to remain the hero, not the technology behind it.
Journey of a Seed is a clear example of why immersive experiences can’t be solved with equipment lists alone. They require technical strategy, spatial thinking, and production teams that understand how creative, engineering, and logistics intersect.
At Limitless Lights and Sound, we specialize in that intersection. From early design through final strike, our role is to make ambitious ideas executable and unforgettable.
If you’re planning an immersive brand experience, large-scale LED environment, or content-driven installation, we’d love to help you build it.
At the core of Journey of a Seed was a large-scale LED environment that surrounded guests in Bayer’s story. The LED system functioned as both architecture and narrative device, creating a continuous visual field that wrapped the room in motion, data, and atmosphere.
To achieve this, Limitless Lights and Sound provided and deployed a comprehensive LED system, including:
High-resolution LED panels configured for immersive viewing distances
Redundant video processing and control systems to ensure stability
Precision data and power distribution designed for scale and reliability
Ground-supported structural solutions engineered for clean sightlines and safety
All equipment selection, configuration, and deployment were executed under the Limitless Lights and Sound production umbrella, ensuring a unified technical standard across the entire build.
The result was a seamless visual surface that allowed HLK’s experience to breathe, expand, and envelop the audience without distraction.
While video was the centerpiece, the experience relied on a fully integrated production ecosystem to feel complete.
Limitless Lights and Sound provided comprehensive production support, including:
Distributed audio reinforcement to maintain clarity without overpowering the space
Architectural and accent lighting to complement the LED environment
Scenic elements and soft goods to frame the installation and manage sightlines
Power distribution and cable management designed to disappear from view
All infrastructure was planned to support the creative intent while remaining invisible to the guest experience.
Executing an immersive installation at this scale requires more than good design. It requires disciplined production.
Our team managed the full in-person experience, including load-in, setup, show operation, and strike. This included LED technicians, graphics operators, audio engineers, lighting technicians, and stage management working in coordination to ensure the experience performed exactly as intended.
The installation was built, tested, and refined on site, allowing for final adjustments that only happen once creative meets reality. By the time guests entered the space, the technology disappeared and the story took over.
Projects like Journey of a Seed only succeed when every partner operates in alignment.
HLK led creative direction and executive production, shaping the narrative and experience design.
Antidote Studio crafted the visual content that defined the emotional arc of the installation.
Limitless Lights and Sound bridged concept and execution, serving as Technical Video Consultant, 3D Designer, and Production Company responsible for bringing the experience to life in the physical world.
Each role was distinct, and each was essential to accomplishing the goals of Bayer Crop Science.
Incredibly professional team. Really a pleasure to work with.
Jon AcordI have so much gratitude for Dash and the team at Limitless!! My lighting designer for the fashion show I was producing had to back out last minute (a few days before show) and Dash was able to take the original design we had and come up with a flawless design within an hour. It was even better than our original!! He really saved the show and the lighting really complemented the garments! He was also super responsive and so fun to work with! Highly highly highly recommend!!!

Lola ScarboroughOver the 10yrs I’ve known Dash, he has been inspiration to create a mufti leveled experience where many people from different backgrounds can come together and play in a light and sound experience. I find that Limitless Lights and Sound is an ever expanding format that will continue to inspire me. I find that Dash’s unique understanding of music and his extreme passion to bring people a great show and sound experience, seems to never stop.
